Administration

The Executive Director, LBVSD's Chief Executive Officer, is accountable for the performance of the District and administers Board and District business through this department. The Executive Director represents the District and interacts with the Chair and Board of Trustees and its committees to recommend and obtain approval for plans, policies, projects, and budgets needed for the District to meet its mission and goals. The Executive Director provides leadership and supervision to the management team, administrative staff, and outside professional service providers; facilitates planning; communicates vision, mission, goals, and objectives; and monitors and reports organizational performance. Administration staff provides administrative support, procurement, meeting preparation and management, governance scheduling, communication, and records management for five Boards and committees, employee committees, and District projects and programs.
